Who the hell are you?
Eric Rogge is a blogger, movie reviewer, and web designer who built The Slow Roll from the ground up. He has worked for television shows

Daniel J. Blau is a staff writer emeritus at Television Without Pity ,
and has also contributed to print publications including The Advocate and Blackbook. He has spent the last three years putting words in the mouths of Tyra Banks and Tori Spelling, and he never gets a single
word of thanks for it. |
How often do you update?
We update the website every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. We update the blog whenever something like Jon Voight's accent in Anaconda happens and we have to tell someone right away.
Where does the term "slow roll" come from?
It sounded like the most accurate name for a website based on watching movies very, very slowly. But actually, we first started using the term as it referred to commonly-seen shots in movies of a car tumbling down a hill in slow motion (and usually exploding). It's an image that perfectly sums up what it means to watch disaster in excruciating detail, unable to tear your eyes away.
Are there supposed to be video clips on your site?
No. Each "clip" or "chapter" is a written summary and analysis of one portion of the movie. If you're looking for video clips, we suggest you purchase the movie at full price through our Amazon.com Associates account. Just kidding, even we wouldn't do that. Check out our growing collection of clips on our YouTube channel , or purchase a used copy of the movie for like $1 (through our Amazon.com Associates account, of course).
Will you ever slow roll more than one movie at a time?
Probably not. The beauty of these movies is how much they give back if you give them your undivided attention. If we tried to cover more than one movie at a time, we might have to be less detailed or update less frequently, and frankly, Elizabethtown deserves better than that.
How do you decide which movie to do next?
We have a short list of those movies we're most eager to dissect, but we would also like to cover a wide range of genres, so each movie should be extremely different from the last in terms of genre, budget, and most hilariously, artistic ambition.
Do sequels count?
If they suck enough.
